»Get OrganizedFirst Things FirstChialin LeeWork is inescapable. Some people go to work, work from home or do house work. There is even volunteer or community work. And often one hears, "You have to work at a relationship." Work is all around us. If work is such a big part of our lives, how do we begin to do this work efficiently? Studies have shown that people who make lists get more things done even though they don't always accomplish everything on their list. In the end, your life may seem like a long to do list, but you will get things done.
Making a list is not good enough. Don't stop here. One needs to know what needs to be done first, second, third and so forth. Most people don't start with step one which is why some people come across as not being organized or someone who is slow at their work. You need to ask yourself, what's the first thing(s) I can do in order to accomplish my work? What can I do today or now? In summary, making a list is the first step. Then, narrowing down the list to what is the very first thing(s) to do is how you can accomplish your work and get it done in a timely manner so that you have time to enjoy your life. |
